Proverbs 3:6 - "In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths"

Do you ever feel like you need help making a decision that only you can make? I find myself there a lot. This verse in Proverbs is quite well known, likely because individuals for centuries have realized that they too need and want some form of help to guide us in making the "best" possible decisions we face. The reward is the second half of this verse - "...He shall direct thy paths". However, our lofty goal to receive that reward is in the first half - "In all thy ways acknowledge Him". This is a grand goal for any mortal man or woman, I believe. Specifically, this means that I think righteous thoughts and follow through with righteous action in every role I have throughout the day (e.g., husband, father, employee, friend, stranger, etc.).
I have come to pray routinely that God would simply reveal Himself to me (and others) routinely throughout the day. For I know that if and when I see His handiwork, I am constantly reminded of the eternal view. in those moments, the day to day disappointments and perceived failures lose their power to hold me down very long. When the distractions get out of our way, I believe our motivation to follow Him in all His ways becomes quite natural.
