Luke 1:37 - "For with God, nothing shall be impossible"
After all, as believers, we can reasonably look around at all of creation with a humble sense of the awesome power of anyone who could make, let alone imagine, all that we see.
Have you ever visited NASA's website and seen the pictures from our Universe - absolutely mind-boggling!
So if we intellectually believe all this and the logic makes sense, why do we stumble so much in our faith?
For me, it is because I don't really FEEL that God will deliver. My brain gets it, but my heart fails me.
This is where a memory verse like this one from Luke 1:37 can be incredibly helpful. We need the truth of the Word on the tips of our tongues to defeat one of our biggest enemies in unleashing God's power in our own lives - DOUBT.
Yes, unfortunately, there are frequent moments in my life that I truly do not believe that my prayers will be answered. My own doubts sabotage God's power in realizing my dreams.
If you find yourself in similar circumstances, I urge you to work to memorize this verse. It is short and sweet, but full of power. It will empower you in ways that will literally bring the transforming power of God into your daily life. He will deliver your dreams through your faith in His power.
